Over 460,000 people in Zambia will soon benefit from improved water and sanitation services, thanks to a $132 million loan from the African Development Fund. This investment aims to address the critical challenges of water supply and sanitation in urban and peri-urban areas.

The project will focus on upgrading water supply infrastructure, expanding sanitation facilities, and enhancing the capacity of local water utilities. By improving access to clean water and sanitation, the initiative aims to reduce waterborne diseases and enhance the overall quality of life for Zambians.
