The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has announced that the 31st Annual General Meeting of Shareholders & Advisory Group Meetings (AAM2024) will be hosted for the first time in the Caribbean. The event will be held in Nassau, The Bahamas, from June 12-15, 2024.
This year, the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF2024) will be fully incorporated within the Afreximbank Annual Meetings. The theme for AAM2024 is “Owning Our Destiny: Economic Prosperity on the Platform of Global Africa.”
Afreximbank’s Annual Meetings have become a renowned multi-faceted event that bridges the private and public sectors, featuring conferences, deal-making sessions, lobbying opportunities, entertainment, and more. The 2024 event is expected to attract several thousand attendees, including African and Caribbean leaders, senior government officials, policymakers, business leaders, bankers, entrepreneurs, academics, and other thought leaders. Over 60 speakers are already confirmed.
The 3rd edition of ACTIF2024 aims to explore new opportunities for the Caribbean through African and global investments, with more than 25 deals expected to be signed and new commercial and developmental initiatives to be announced.
The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and Advisory Group Meetings will take place on June 15, while the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum’s seminars and plenaries will occur from June 12-14.
